   Neil Percival Young OC OM (born November 12, ) is a Canadian-American singer-songwriter and activist. After embarking on a music career in the s, he moved to Los Angeles, joining Buffalo Springfield with Stephen Stills, Richie Furay and others. Since his early solo albums and those with his backing band Crazy Horse, Young has been prolific, recording a steady stream of studio and live.

   Young's focus began to wander in , as he recorded the duet album Long May You Run with Stephen Stills and then abandoned his partner midway through the supporting tour. The following year he recorded the country-rock-oriented American Stars 'n Bars, which featured vocals by Nicolette Larson, who was also prominent on 's Comes a Time.

   Great versions, especially "Comes a Time." Also cool to hear him refer to "The Puppet" as the song that his band (Freddy Jones Band) has only played once! You can hear how young he sounds when he's talking at the beginning of "Back Home Again", pretty funny.

   Comes a Time () is in my top 5 Neil Young albums of all time. This album exemplifies Neil's folk roots, and even sounds a bit country at times. There isn't a bad track on this release, and the real standouts are GOIN' BACK, LOTTA LOVE, PEACE OF MIND, HUMAN HIGHWAY, and /5().
