Sep 06,  · "Girl from the North Country" is excellent. Just Dylan on acoustic. The live ambience make you think you are actually up in the north country. "Tombstone Blues" was always the finally jam song on this tour where they brought Carlos Santana on stage to play with the band. (since he was the opening act). Its a great rocking version/5(82).

Real Live is a live album documenting Bob Dylan's tour of Europe, released at the end of that same year by Columbia Records. Most of the concert was recorded at Wembley Stadium on 7 July, but "License to Kill" and "Tombstone Blues" come from St James' Park, Newcastle on 5 July, and "I and I" and "Girl from the North Country" were recorded at Slane Castle, Ireland .

As for the track-listing, Young chose songs that have personal meaning for him, such as British folk artist Bert Jansch s Needle of Death (which inspired Young to write s Needle and the Damage Done), Bob Dylan s Girl from the North Country, Willie Nelson s Crazy, Don Everly s I Wonder If I Care as Much, Bruce Springsteen s My Home Town.
